Hi! I’m Debbie
I’m here to help you design your business to earn a full time income in part time hours.
With no overcomplicated funnels, unnecessary tech or manipulative marketing.
Instead, simplifying and streamlining to create focus, alignment and space.
DOES THIS SOUND LIKE YOU?
You're an ambitious change-maker and not one to shy away from hard work….and you’re also a mum, a carer or a community activist with limited hours in which to make it all happen.
You started your business to create a positive impact and prove that a different way of working is possible.
But you’re struggling with:
A calendar that leaves you frazzled and drained.
Working evenings and weekends despite wanting flexibility.
Teaching others about wellbeing while struggling to find your own.
Knowing that what you’re putting into your business isn’t matched by what you’re getting in return.
How I came to do this work:
September 2022, nine months after starting my coaching practice, I replaced my monthly corporate salary.
I’d chased it as a financial goal but also because it served to validate my choice to leave a 12 year career as a Geophysicist as one that wasn’t completely crazy.
I’d been drawn to Geophysics by my intrigue of what lies beneath the surface of the Earth, an intrigue that then carried over into people and business. I was fascinated by why business operated the way it did. And specifically, why becoming a mother seemed like an automatic penalty against a previously high-flying career.
It was on that basis that I took the leap from employment to entrepreneurship seeking work that brought me closer to people, allowed me quality time with my own kids and also proved a point that part time work could be financially rewarding - thereby giving a middle finger to the Gender Pay Gap that had been all too obvious in the corporate world.
No sooner had I hit the ‘replace-my-salary’ goal that I was onto the next step - I added a group programme to my 1:1 work, and then another. I ran 5 day challenges, recorded a weekly podcast, built a mailing list and even did the odd dance on Instagram.
From the outside the business was thriving. But on the inside the fire in my belly, driven by purpose and meaning, was being slowly smothered by my relentless to-do list and inability to switch off.
Knowing that I needed a break I booked onto an Authentic Relating retreat, an experience that became a powerful turning point for me.
Coming back from that I realised that the approach that had won me the A* grades, a degree from the University of Oxford, a 12year corporate career and a little side project that had become an award winning company just six months after conception was no longer going to work.
What the retreat gave me was a chance to slow down in the company of others. It gave space to sit with the things that felt hard, uncomfortable, painful even. To move through them and still be accepted by others.
The turning point
Things didn’t change overnight but over the next few years I trained in embodiment coaching, learned about circular economy as a regenerative approach to business and started working as part of the team within ART International.
It’s all of this that sits at the heart of my work today.
My zone of genius still lies in operations and making things happen. But my approach is now balanced by paying attention to how things feel.
I believe that, left unchecked, our businesses are a representation of our own internal world.
They showcase our zone of genius and they also represent the parts that we find hard.
This is the purpose that lies under the surface of my work today.
I work with small and micro service based businesses to simplify what they've built, streamline how it runs, and focus on fewer tasks that create the highest impact on time and income.
Sounds easy, but if it was we’d already be there.
Together we create a business that's simple to run, profitable to own, and leaves you with the time and headspace you started this journey for.
Whereas traditionally growth is associated with adding more - more hours to your day and items to your to-do list - I believe that sustainable growth is about focussing on less.
Over time and much trial and error, I’ve learnt that to run a business that supports a full time income in part time hours requires three things:
Crystal clear positioning that makes your pricing great value for money.
A business model that works within the hours you have.
Systems and boundaries that allow you to actually work part time hours, not squeeze in an extra hour here and there until you’re actually working as hard as ever.
Now in my business, I still work hard in the hours that I have, but I also pick my kids up from school every day, have weekends free and get to work with amazing clients who I love.

MY PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Before starting my own business, I spent twelve years as an Earth Scientist for a global corporate, where a key part of my role was analysing complex systems. I worked a lot with risk and uncertainty, and big datasets where I had to cut through the noise to find what matters most.
These skills still form the foundation of how I work with clients - seeing the systems behind the chaos and helping you focus on what actually moves the needle.
I've since trained in Embodiment Coaching, Authentic Relating, Circular Economy and Sustainability Policy - all centred on designing businesses to be regenerative rather than extractive.
I work exclusively with purpose-driven solo founders who are passionate about making positive impact and have the courage to build their businesses differently
